Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy uses the traditional tools of yoga—movement, breath, relaxation, and awareness—to support physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. More than simple exercise, yoga is a holistic therapeutic system. It reduces stress, increases flexibility and mobility, supports joint health, improves digestion, balances the nervous system, and enhances mood, sleep, and vitality. Regular practice can help relieve many conditions and is also a powerful method of prevention.

My Yoga Therapy sessions combine specific asanas, breathwork, and guided relaxation to address targeted health concerns. Each session is tailored to your needs and evolves over time.

Digestion & Core Strength Session

Digestive issues often arise from stress, poor diet, and sedentary habits. This session is designed to stimulate healthy digestive function, support detoxification, and restore abdominal vitality.

Benefits include:

  • Relief from indigestion, constipation, acidity, bloating, and gas

  • Improved abdominal strength and toning of the abs and glutes

  • Slimming and firming of the waist, hips, and thighs

  • Removal of energy blockages in the abdomen

Contraindications: Not recommended for individuals with high blood pressure, serious heart conditions, sciatica, or herniated discs.

Depression, Stress, Insomnia Session

This session is designed to release energetic blocks and promote the free flow of prana throughout the body. Through gentle postures and calming breathwork, the nervous system shifts into a state of rest and restoration.

This sequence helps to:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety

  • Regulate sleep patterns

  • Soothe the mind and calm mental agitation

  • Support emotional balance

  • Open and harmonise the Heart Chakra (Anahata), inviting clarity, compassion, and positive energy

Uterine Fibroids Session

This therapeutic sequence supports natural healing for women experiencing fibroids. Yoga can help reduce symptoms by improving circulation, balancing hormones, reducing stress, and supporting the body’s detoxification systems.

This practice works by:

  • Regulating hormonal balance through specific forward bends and restorative postures

  • Supporting the liver, which plays a key role in hormone processing

  • Improving blood flow to the pelvic region

  • Reducing stress levels that may contribute to fibroid growth

  • Supporting overall reproductive and emotional well-being
